Do you use tincture bottles for your business? Are you using adhesive labels or shrink sleeves? How are you putting on your shrink sleeves? We at CoolJarz want to know because we want to up your label game. Tincture bottles are cool bottles that have a great functional purpose.
However, the label on your tincture bottles can be almost just as important to selling your product. That’s why CoolJarz loves shrink sleeve labels. We believe they set products apart from their competition in a fun, creative way. They also allow for more real estate to use on the product’s packaging for product information or design choices.
However, if you don’t have the right tools to apply shrink sleeves, getting them for your products can become a headache in production. Using heat guns and blow dryers to apply shrink sleeves is a big no-no in the label industry and industrial machines cost too much. That’s why CoolJarz has developed our own portable shrink sleeve steam tunnel to easily sleeve tincture bottles quick and easily.
How Does It Work?
The CoolJarz Shrink Sleeve Machine System works in a similar way as the large industrial shrink sleeve tunnels do, but in a small tabletop form. The device itself uses the heat in steam to shrink labels to their respective tincture bottles.
Our machine is comprised of its base heating unit, a water tank reservoir, and a steam head. The base heats the water to a point where the water turns to steam. The steam is then released into the steam head tunnel where you can drop your tincture bottles with the shrink sleeves through. The bottle is then caught by our device before it falls completely through, steam is evenly applied, and falls the rest of the way down. You’re going to want to catch glass bottles!
Shrink sleeves can only be applied using heat, and we’ve found that the steam tunnel method was the best way to apply that heat. This is because steam is able to evenly apply labels at a temperature lower than other types of heat tunnels, protecting your product.
Other methods such as convection heat, run the risk of ruining the contents of your tincture bottles by heating them to a point you wouldn’t want. The heat in our steam machine only goes as high as needed to apply shrink sleeve labels.
If you’ve used a heat gun before to apply your shrink sleeve labels, you know just how long of a process it can be. Not only that, the end result probably wasn’t what you were looking for. Heat guns create bubbles and an uneven label application. Our steam shrink sleeve machine evenly applies heat for a smoother label.
We’ve created our shrink sleeve machine with small businesses in mind so we made sure they could use it. This machine was built for those with little space to work with or crowded work areas.
The machine itself only takes about 2 square feet of table space, and we recommend having about 4 square feet to operate. No need for an assembly line going across a factory with this machine.
Its small size isn’t the only thing making our shrink sleeve machine portable either. Its low heating method makes operating more comfortable for everyone in the room as well. Convection ovens are basically space heaters that can leave your operating space hot and hard to work in. Our steam machine is comparable to a humidifier so you’re not working in a desert while sleeving your tincture bottles.
Tincture bottles are a great packaging choice for many industries. Getting a good label for it is going to be half the battle. The other half is finding the best way to get it on.
